Assalamualaikum'...

Some people say that it is not allowed to type the muslim's greeting.. and i don't know why but my logic says that if you spell and type it out ( unless it is written in Arabic-Jawi), it loses its origin on its phrasing also it might cause some error in pronouncing the word as in Arabic language, the Tajwid is utmost important in accurate enunciation......
So, i might be at wrong, ironically i still type the word out,....Aiyooo

Anyway, yesterday was the day of our prophet mohammad's Birthday Anniversary March 9th 09 ( in Islamic calendar was 12 Rabi'al Awal)

I was at home flipping through the channels and came across this malaysian channel TV1 and they were talking about "Maulidul Rasul". I was intrigue and as i sat down, i thought to myself...Felt remorse almost immediately......the feeling of guilt and shamefullness crept to me that i can't even recall when was the last time i attended this event. So I listen with concentration......
"Why we celebrate the Anniversary?"
It is to commemorate the achievement of our Rasullullah as well as to strengthen our love towards Allah and Rasullullah. The anniversary first started around hundred years after the death of our beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH. The muslims were loosing hope and by celebrating the Prophet's B day not only it helps them to remind which side were they on it were also to strengthen their belief and encouraged muslims as well as to provide them with inner strength to go fight for battle against the non-believers. As they say the rest were/are History...

at least i learned a thing or two...right?... *Pad on the back~~
I mean we rarely asked our self Why as we always take things for granted...

Bad mood, Good Mood

Few days a go, i heard a friend of mind got admitted to KK Hospital to opt for surgery... it was a really shocking news... yesterday was the operation..alhamdulillah,it went well...Visiting time was up till 8 pm and i was there around 6pm...hmmm........Get well soon ..ok?!..
Everybody decided to head home, so i took a free shuttle bus from KK Hospital to bugis... nothing much going on this days... M having Holiday right now but nuthing to look forward to except maybe for the Genting trips with my maytes....It seems like my mood got affected by that incident... hmmm..
Anyway, reached Bugis and thinking of grabbing a bite at McD but just right before i enter the shopping mall, i was confronted by an agency of some sort.. after much talking,turns out they're talent agency...lol... i was laughing through out the conversations made, they were scouting for new faces for their adverts and tv commercials... It was a bit embarassing and flattering at the same time,who knew i got "fresh face"-(according to the talent scout). ...what a joke i tell you!..
My biggest fright is not the humiliating part when your friends started to recognise your face flashes on some advert but the talent agency could be just a hoax, a fraud, OR yea, maybe it was a real dodgy talent agency that needs a different kind of TALENT.. if you know what i mean... hahahaha... Bruneian Porn star....lol....That strings of thought just make me wonder...It was a "What if" kind of moment...
Then headed to McD and went home...

Maybe i might just reconsidering it since am very free as hell and doing nothing for the next few weeks..........at least got easy-hard-cold-cash at an instant...lol

Hey peeps,

Been missing in action lately,.heh...apa nya orang "On Hiatus" ... ceh...anyway, my days in Temasek Polytechnic were Officially ended yesterday at 11:30am, Monday 23rd Feb 09 with final paper Nutrition in Disease. Wuhoo....>
It was tough and i had to live with the fact that i messed up the last bit of Section B. My stupid last minute judgement call was a deal breaker... for all i know because of the silly mistake i've done, i could probably achieve at least a borderline "B" grade..but my hopes are non-existance for that precious letter now...perhapes scoring a "C" or even a "D" is a way to go...Damned it!...
on a lighter note, at least its a pass...right?..no? A friend of mine told me that it takes my 3 days to recover from the disasterous self-inflicting stupidity of mine and will totally forgot about it by then....huuuuhhhhhhh *sigh*...Hope so....

Besides ending my final semester yesterday, I gave my self a solid 2 hrs of good-ol-pad-on-the-back nap in the afternoon and coincedentially i was invited for a celebration dinner for Brunei 25th National Day Anniversary along with my other bruneian parees at Hyatt Hotel. I treated myself there to a free buffet and broaden my so-called social horizon by networking with rather upbeat people at the hotel (the new juniors as well as in-training civil servants... FYI, suprisingly i met my cousin whos doing his police training in Spore for few month; Abng Bibi...heh,wathuup mayte). It was ok i guess, everything started to heat up and we went wild with the photo-taking after a drink or two. hah!......

Seems like i have a lot of things that needs to be updated

Just now i was on the phone with a friend of mine..Hana...hellow..........
yea...just to update on things...hmmm......anyway,..now it reminds me, last week we did roller blade together...hahaha...yep...ROLLER BLAD-ING...its been a long time since i did any form of skating on shoes with small rollers...it was hilarious i tell you...Hana & I, most of the time grip each other tightly afraid to let go and was damned scared to fall...owh before that, funny thing was when we got the safety gear, Hana put the knee pads on her elbows...i told her off that shes doing it all wrong.... and little did i knew,i would not thought that i also get it wrong and said..." hana, u put it upside down....Do the other way!" with conviction in my voice....then came the facilitator( or whatchamacallit for the person who's in charge on safety gears?) and said to both of us..."actually u guys did it all wrong!...that gear goes to your knee"....Hana & i laugh our heads off.....how silly & dumb can we get,mmaaaaannn... lol....That was my himbo moment...
anyway, we skate only for few hours and i didnt realised that i got a huge nasty blister on top of a bruise on my right leg...It was nasty i tell you...
but yea..it was an exciting experienced none the less...

Holdiay update prt 1

hey guys…hello peeps...
haaaaaa........I always starts with this rather boring opener to my conversation...…
I think I better start using a more profound opening starter to entice people to read it with a good laugh-able humored punch line…
anyway, its been a while that I wanted to talk about my holiday,….
If it has to be put into one sentence or better yet one word to sum it all up I would say Legend…wait for it…dary…lol………….Legendary!……
i wish it was longer as I just got to know a few of my sister’s friends….ivaa, citraa,, Rachel, api, vinda, some name I cannot recall… to name a few….it was great knowing you guys…hahaha….
so far in aussy perth, we went north of perth, southern perth...basically it was almost whole of perth…hahaha…coz my bro rent a huge 8 sitters car “Toyota Tarago” and fit us damned well I guess, even though there’s less room to maneuver or shift your body to one side or another..you know when you’re feeling tired and you want to find comfortable site to rest your head to sleep inside a car….yep that’s what I meant…
So, yea…
I spent my 1 month holiday with nothing planned and little money to spent on…….but yea I spent more than 1 k though including my air fare….geezzz talk about saving ah…hmmm…money, the Benjamin, duit, …I know how everybody wish that these lil things can grow on trees….speaking about money, economy is down right now….don’t know how it gonna affect me but I heard stories about the downfall of market and financial system as a whole and what not that indirectly associated to the occurrence of the famous number “triple 6”….hmmm…. I shall not elaborate more on it as it is too sensitive to write about.….

lets get back on to my story, few of the highlights that are worth mentioning here are trip to chocolate factory, candy factory, some ancient cave, Western Australia Museum, the Deen bar courtesy of mun & friends and one particular event called Perth Royal Show that is held once a year I reckon…its like a fun-fair like event where there’s a lot of goodies to be won, mini games, foods, and the crowd….yea the crowd, how can I forget…..it was fun but exhausting coz it was during the fasting month…but yea..i still managed to play one of them thrill ride… anyway feast your eyes to the photos below……

nway,....just want to update to you guys that i'm on my final semester ...wuhoooooo.........and i can't even begin with, to tell you guys on how far i went through this journey with a lot of obstacles, set-backs and some accidental learning along the way...waahhh...i almost there but yea, need to clear this one 1st once and for all!.....hmmmm.......it boils down to how determine i am to achieve my goal which is to graduate and further my studies ( which i am by the way!!)....hahahaha...
hopefully this final sem, i'll do better and never bend down to the road of procrastination!!....

Nway, Today is 9th August 2008, Saturday....Its Singapore National Day...the mark of their independence...I dont know how and what to feel about this event...clearly m not a Singaporean.. hummmph so much of a patriotism...

Later the event start at 5:30 and ends at around 8pm. Something to expect at this event are the fireworks, the performances and the crowd...Yea...I think i just stay at home and watch it on tv coz it will be on live telecast..hah But yet again m not too sure about that coz currently m searching out through whole singapore to find a nice,clean place for rent...and i have to go and meet this owner like NOW!...better get going...

Hello parrees,
That day after exam finished, i hangout at my friend's crib watching "friends- the one where phoebe gave birth to triplets"...it was hilarious, even though i had watched it like million times over....hahaha....
Then after that met up with bruenian friend supposedly accompanying her to Teka mall but cancelled and decided to hangout instead... But since i promised another friend that i wanted to send her off at the airport, hangout session ends abruptly and i went to T2 right after that.
So yea,...managed to finally saw her as she's been in singapore with her cousin for a week and sadly did not fine time to go out with her as i was busy with exam....
Just want to give a shout out to my friend Syaza.....Look at her, shes very tall, and she has this infectious megawatt smile likes those on julia roberts...heheeh...me like!~~...lol

FINALLY,....exam is officially ended...
the last paper i had was an opened book exam....its FPQA..stands for Food preservation and Quality assurance for those who are uninitiated. It was hectic when the exam started,i was frantically flipping through the pages of the notes that i thought worthy for the test... fuuuhh the answer was everywhere...needed to compile the answers and form a meaningful paragraphs that made sense in just 1hr 30 min...I tell you,...The time was NOT Fcukin' Enough!~~...argghh...but hope i pass..

Nway,today is Sunday
A bit monotonous and mind-numbing day...woke up as usual around 8-ish (yea every1 is using "ish" nowadays...it makes it more hip and cool i suppose..lol).. ate pratas for breakfast and continuing cleaning my unsightly filthy, untidy cluttered apartment...it was tiresome...
The thing about cleaning is that you don't know where to begin with. for a start, my mess was a few weeks worn clothes lying on the floor almost covering the pearl white worn-out tiles. Collecting dust were everywhere, you named it. I almost gave up but then i got some sort of an epiphany...
I used to seeing my sister cleans,..how she organized things with ease, targeting small area to sweep.hahaha..lol..... Now im 2/3 done with cleaning..

Since i am able to go online..i might as well used it for posting purposes....hahaha...right now, i'm at Coffee Bean T3, supposedly doing my work as in research materials....yea a lot of things needed to be done...eg. FPQA ,FI, CRM ( btw, ive done the quiz and got full marks..wuhooo!)
I tried to do multi-tasking...juggling assignments, reports and catching up with my pareess... i tell you!..it doesnt work on me...
Nway, what i wanted to say is that doing attachment back in Brunei was a blast! i had a weird experienced and yet, a very enriching one indeed.... i went to STPRI as an observing so-called training teacher...hohohoho...i ended up doing resources for the F&N subject...it was ok i guess ...
the most fun part was i got attached to MOH under dietitian unit di Anggrek....siuk jua... i learned how to communicate with patients, learned to extract informations out of them..lol... suggest a suitable proper daily meals for patients and the lists goes on....
so yea, the reason why i posted the photos below was to pay sort of a tribute to the people who helped me during my attachment period..hahaha.....

today am feeling a bit tired but yea pretty much alright i guess..btw,thank god i'm abled to do my presentation about going Green this morning.........my project titled was "Be green- Be part of a Solution!"...although i knew i did not done an excellent job on selling my ideas (damned i leaved out many points that needed to be mention!!) to my lecturer but well enough to scrape through for her to understand it....hmm........

My Fav Local Market

Hello peeps,
I just wanted to share with you guys a quick snap shot of Brunei with my trusty, handy mobile phone with its unglamorous 1.3 m.pixel camera..hahaha...yea i know...(baik tah bali baru nya urang)......but it's still quite functional as the photos looked pretty descent enough for the untrain- photo-loving eyes in broad day light......

For those who are uninitiated, this is a Wet market at Kianggeh River or well-locally known as "Tamu kianggeh"...they sells various kind of local grown veges and fruits...very fresh indeed...
When i was young, almost every friday morning,my parents used to bring us to city to cut our ( me& my brother Del) hair..then later on would accompanied my mother to buy groceries at this market....yea those were the days....

Giant in brunei is like its singapore counterpart but more of local items being sell there...

Previous episode of Zul- Back in Brunei -

Woke up around 8-ish,..automatically straight away picked up my dirty laundry without even a split-sec thought about it...just doing my weekly chores.horrendous task to dealt with you know....imagine,...i have to go down the stairs and passed by our living room, and out to the washing area where then, have to wait for my turn because as you guys know i have a lot of siblings....its like queueing for "fun donut"...hahaha...lol........
Gr8!done with my stuff, as usual had my shower,breakfast ...then played PS2 game called "guitar hero 3". MY nephews left their guitar-like controllers here...so what the heck, started playing...yea am rockin' it, Amidst the game, My poklen mayte 'Apip" along with his side-kick "nuzi" text me up..wanted to hangout at my place,..so i said sure...
We played guitar hero game under medium settings, i thought i could catch up with Apip but turns out that freakin' poklen bastardos played before and worked his way up and i was beaten badly!....paiseh leh...
after a few more strummin' sessions we decided to change our tempo to a more manly game..hahaha..."winning Eleven 13"...
Biasalah Nuzi picked Man U,.aku Newcastle...to be honest, aku batah dah inda megang game especially game bola...hahahaha....nway, to make the story short and sweet,,...i've got beaten to 3 - nil....damnded that poklen used psychology crap on me and what not and it worked wonders...apparently am too old for console game..huhuhuuhu....
Tired of losing, we agreed on heading to Gadong mall .........cuci mata.......
aaaaaaahhhhhh..refreshing....nooooot.....
Went to Jolibee for lunch then met a mystery friend to pass her some stuff...yea...its a she..
We were so bored, the last resort was playing some arcade game at Uni Arcade..............
The place was crowded filled with coming-of age teens...it was disturbing..huhuuhuh.....*make a quivering movement*.....
while waiting for the empty slot cubicle for karaoke-ing...we saw 2 chinese ah-lian eyeing on us... i don't know whether they were interested or coz we looked like some lost poklen at that time.... mind you,..we looked smashin' and dashingly handsome...
Finally, we went in the cubicle fit for 3- 4 people .....
Woaa...when Apip opened his mouth, all the vibrato, pitching, low&high notes combined to form a melodious screeeech..he sing,he sang,he sung......hahahah...lol....Nuff said!.....
After the ear deafenin',mufflin' experienced we called up some friends to join us "makan" at a sushi bar/ restaurant, gadong. unfurtunately it was full...we changed our venue to "escapade" sushi restaurant ,Kiulap...........
By then, it was night and raining heavily....while waiting for our maytes to come,.. we went to a pet store..hahaha...yea...single,available studs go to pet store together..how odd&weird that must've been......Nuzi was looking some accessories for his newly found hobby,...Hamster... i doubt it will last long though....Good luck mayte......

a lot of things i need to catch up on...i talked about this girl i met ....the story goees " There this one time during the New Zealand trip".... and the story goes on and on i do not know for how long but yea...it was long...hahahah...nanti tah ku cerita~
One of my maytes said that it would be a cool time to watch a movie at that hour... at first Apip and I ware taken aback when our mayte suggested "Horton" for the late night...coz we thought that its going to be a pretty boring movie but somehow, he convinced us to watch it together... hahaha...first few minutes were hilarious but not for long........it was dry, dry, and more cheap laugh and nonsensical storyline... over all i gave it a 2.5 out of 5. the good part was when Horton -the gray elephant a.k.a Nuzi as we called it said " people are still people no matter how small there are"...power eh line nya ah....small here refers to a very broad perspective....so used your imagination~
fuuuhhh...nway,..after that we hangout some more..where?..tempat Mameh! until 2:30 and then we called it a day....... My friend Jimmy (btw, thnx paree) finally got license...wuhooo.... send us off.........
when i reached home that late....i knew for sure the gate was locked...i had to climb the front gate skillfully like ninja..hahah.. but i could not enter the main door coz it was locked...... i rang up my eldest sis...i know she got work in the morning and she's gonna fridgin' hate me for doing this......she threw me the keys and got my self a solid few seconds lecture....thnk god i could not understand what she was blabbering about coz she was half a sleep with her eyes closed ....
hahaha....so i washed up and went to bed.....

So thats my day~~~

Mornin' to a wet thursday.........Aaaaaaiyooooooo,..
juz woke up, havent breakfast yet,pretty much doin' nuthin except for now staring at the laptop screen....
hahahha....owh yea....semalam bagus banget deh....hangout sma temen-temen buruni gituu... too lazy to tell you guys the full story,......but this is what i did yesterday..:

1. Went to eastcoast ate breakfast at McD

2. Walked from end to end of eastcoast beach..watched people playing futsal and also water skii along the way

3. Went to Marina square wif brader

4. Lunchin' at KFC.....Buddy meal...waaahhh nyaman eh

5. Then met up wif ma 2 Bruneian friends...Joy and Hana

6. Window shoppin' and browsin' the area...

7. Went bowling after that..( damned nda dapat student price... apparently m too old to be given a student price!....we played 2 games and overall i rank 3rd place..hahaha....as much as i hate to admit, ma fav bowling ball at that time was size 8 and it's pink...yea florescent pink..maannn...wuhooo...got my momentum and groove on the 2nd game....)

8. Then met up another 2 Bruneian maytes, asgai...ma brader Pcai and Joy's friends

9. We go makan2 at QiJi...and chat

10. Then we decided to watch movie..."Alvin and the chipmunks" and we walked our way from Marina to Cathay, orchard,...and it was drizzlin' and windy too

11. Arrived around 8 ++ pm and que for tickets

12. Changed of plan, we bought 6 tickets (couple seats...hahaha) for "National Treasure : Book of Secrets" showing at 11pm

13. Another 2 Bruneian maytes decided to join...so bought another 2 tickets

14. Hangout outside Cathay for while ( kn main pool to kill time but nda jadi so hangout smpai kn liat wyng)

15. Abis liat wayang ..then makan d Banquet...and talked somemore....sampai kul 2 ++ am and after that evrybody bersurai.........

16. Took night bus (4N) and reached home around 3:45am..

A Rockin' Solid Night With Linkin Park ~

Hey....

i just got back from watching' a movie with a couple of friends....yea freakin' tired tho....
its Thursday and the time is - 8:58 pm...owh yea almost forgot before i reached ma burrow i decided to grab a bite at Parkway's McD,ordered a doubl

e cheese burger..hahahaha........

Anyway,as i was sitting on ma navy-blue worn out couch, there this commercial trying to promote linkin park's new album 'Minutes to Midnight' and their new upcoming single "shadow of the Day". I started to reminisce back about the Linkin Park concert that was held in the singapore Indoor stadium....The ticket was fridgin' ex maan but its all worth it! Siuk gilaaaaa....
one of the best thing happened to me in Sin-ja-po....waaaaaaaaaa....mau tau nah brapa $ tiket?....its 3x as my previous allowance given in SOAS ( its an upper sec equivalent to a JC in spore for those who are uninitiated)...go-figure maan...

i thought i was goin' alone which i don't mind btw,..hahaha...erm but gue lagik di temanin dengan seorang cewek, gue punya senior gituu...nama dia JOY...helloo..

She is funny and sweet at the same time..hohoho mcm mengampu..pi nadalah...
So basically the concert started 1 hr late at 9pm....

Pokoknya siuk lh....ada mosh-pit(is that how you spell it?) it was chocked-full, jam-packed, crowded and sweaty!....hahaha....eventho its indoor full-blast air-con...
Most of the songs they played were from their newest album such as "bleed it out", "shadow of the day", "What i've done", "given up"and "the lil thing that give u away"....Paliinggg best "Numb", "Breakin the Habit" sama "crawling".... Gue sma teman gue really, really did a singalong,tryin to bob our head from side to side and jumped like energizer bunny on steroids!...lol....Overall, it was damned great!! rock concert
It was a bit dissapointing when the concert finished at 10:30pm....alaaaa...pkir hati smpai tngah mlm kah apa....and everyone was fcukin' in a hurry to leave the stadium.....what a dumbass!i thought i could get me one of them official Linkin Park's t-shirt but i was too late ,left only with XXL...wtf siaa who the hell can fit into that??...
Nway,we decided to go makan-makan 1st before we headed home.so we waited at the bustop where there were a lot of ppl waitin' for the same bus....for sure we knew that its goin to b a looong night soo kami jalan kaki laahh to the other nearest bustop goin to orchard....over ther we hangout sumore..talked cock..bla bla bla...ate near shaw house McD...talked about life in general...heheheh.....
after much chatting, it was late around 2am...kn balek kn.. so we waited the nightbus at Tang Plaza...gila ngaleh jua nunnggu....1 jam bah bulehhh...Teman gue lagik letih nak mhu pulang so dia naik teksi instead and so was i....
reached my place at 4am....waaaaaaaaa.....
